Extreme Makeover Home Edition Party

Spiky-haired TV host Ty Pennington and the crew from ABC's Extreme Makeover Home Edition ventured to Richland Center this past summer. A call for volunteers resulted in an overwhelming response of more than 2,500 people. Along with a work crew organized by Veridian Homes, an existing home was torn down and a new one built in just four days! This amazingly strong level of support and hard work from the community called for a well deserved wrap-up party. Juke Box Bandstand stepped up and donated entertainment services for the event held at the Dry Bean in Verona. DJ Sean Brusegar kept spirits high and the dance floor moving all night long. What a turnout and what a party it was! Thanks to the other local businesses and volunteers who graciously contributed their time and talents to a great cause. This their 6th season, EMHE has never achieved as large a volunteer turnout as they did in Wisconsin. Makes you feel proud to be a cheesehead! Here are pictures of Sean and Austin with cast members Paul, Paige, and Eduardo.
